April 18th, 2013 by rca_admin 1 comment »Andree Iffrig sends the following invitation:
Join us for a Jane’s Walk in Inglewood on Sat. May 4 from 10 am to noon.
Our theme is “What if we told stories about building community and everybody came?”
The walk will visit some of the places in Inglewood where history on the urban design front is being made by ordinary citizens doing extraordinary things to protect and preserve the diverse socio-economic character, history and environmental wellbeing of the ‘hood. Expect to hear some stories!
Meeting spot: 10 am at the Esker Foundation, 1011 9 Ave SE, Calgary. We’ll meet outside if the weather is fine, inside the lobby if it’s cold or rainy. Bite Groceteria is supplying hot coffee and tea to fortify everyone for the walk through the ‘hood.
